Having edited videos for YouTube, I've spent years building a skill that understands the platform. Every hook, every beat, every cut is used in service of pacing a video so viewers stay until the end. That instinct is what I bring to every video I work on.
I started my career as a Video Editor at The Swaddle, an Indian digital media publication with an audience of over 600,000 across platforms. During my tenure, I contributed to the ideation and execution of several new and flagship content IPs.
I produced and edited long and short-form YouTube videos for a 300K+ subscriber channel, creating platform-native content that resonated with its audience. Alongside editing, I developed a strong understanding of YouTube analytics, learning how key metrics such as audience retention, click-through rate, and watch time influence content performance and long-term channel growth.
As a freelance video editor, I have worked with a diverse range of creators and brands, editing content for YouTube channels including Mark Wiens (11M+ subscribers), 5 Things with Jay Mewes, and the official Murdoch Mysteries podcast, based on one of CBC's longest-running television series. Working across these projects strengthened my ability to adapt my editing style to different audiences, formats, and creative voices while maintaining a strong focus on storytelling and viewer engagement.
